Maine Public Relations Council Elects New Vice President

Martha J.M. Davoli, APR, has been elected vice president of the Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) board of directors. Davoli, who assumed the post previously held by Susan Tompkins, will serve as vice president until the end of 2007. A public relations professional since 1989, Davoli is the director of public information and media services at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She has served on the MPRC board since 2003; she also serves as a Cub Scout volunteer and as a Maine director for the New England Society for Healthcare Communicators. A Scarborough resident, Davoli earned her B.A. in Communication at the University of Southern Maine. (9/27/2006)
