Circus Conservatory of America President Peter Nielsen explores the development of authentic, active, and mission-oriented communities through the strategic deployment of social media. By examining the social media strategies of 350.org, Circus Now, and Paddle 8, attendees will see how the climate change movement built a global network of activists, how contemporary circus found its voice in the United States, and how fine art entrepreneurs are generating revenue for non-profits. Learn how to nurture, engage, and mobilize your community to advance your mission or move your product.

Public speaking is a skill that requires strategies. During this session, attendees will glean speech-building techniques, delivery instruction and anxiety-management tips to help you communicate your message clearly and effectively.
