APR Review Course Scheduled for 2008
The Maine Public Relations Council will offer a series of classes to help candidates who are preparing for the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR).
First classes will be held in both Augusta and Portland.
Augusta: Date TBD, held at Maine Hospital Association.
Portland: The first class was held Thursday, May 8 at Maine Medical Center. Contact Abby Greenfield for additional information.

- A written submission (based on previous experiences and portfolio samples)
- A personal interview (in which you present your portfolio and answer questions posed by a panel of three current APRs)
2) A Computer-based Examination:
- Consisting of multiple choice questions, which is administered at a professional testing center
Cost of the review session, which includes all handouts and materials, is $75. For more information on the review course or the exam, please call Abby Greenfield, APR, Maine Medical Center, (207) 662-2196 or greena@mmc.org.
